Event box
This workshop will introduce several collaborative and interactive learning applications. None of the tools which will be presented require students to share personal data.
1) Spiral is a way to make both powerpoint presentations and videos interactive and is simple to use.
2) Kahoot is a game-based application which can be used for things such as review and users can also tap into millions of "kahoots" in the database of shared Kahoots.
3) Padlet is an incredibly versatile virtual whiteboard on which users can easily share ideas textually or as multimedia.
4) Hypothesis is an open-source annotation application from which allows users to collaboratively annotate things such as readings and internet resources such as articles.
Time permitting other applications may also be introduced. This is an interactive session and ideas that these (and other) tools may be utilized in courses will be explored.
This workshop will be in OM1345.
