E-portfolios are increasingly used in higher education, the public sector, private industry, and elsewhere to highlight individual and team accomplishments, and to share pertinent information and content which lives online such as various kinds of projects. In this morning session, participants will discuss the value of e-portfolios, see examples of e-portfolios from TRU students and/or faculty and staff; and explore technologies commonly used for e-portfolios including WordPress, wikis, and other applications. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on practice in which they will be able to create an e-portfolio to highlight their own work or to use as an example for students who will then create their own e-portfolios.
