Moodle is TRU’s Learning Management Software (LMS). Not just helpful for fully-online courses, it has a number of features and functions which can be used in face-to-face settings and in flipped and/or hybrid settings to enhance student engagement and success. In this session participants will explore features which can enhance engagement, and will have the opportunity to use these features in their own online course environments. Features and functionality explored will include: Feedback tools such as surveys; rated forums and evaluated discussions; video for students and instructors; group activities; peer review and peer evaluation; others features as per instructor and participant interest.
