International Field schools play an important role in supporting and advancing Thompson Rivers University strategic and academic objectives, as well as reflecting the vision, objectives, and theme of TRU’s Academic Plan.  This workshop presents and connects participants with TRU faculty who have lead, facilitated and developed a field school;  introduce the current model and practices at TRU to assist faculty with the inception, development and implementation for leading a field school; and tools to apply to their own individual plan to develop a new or update an existing “faculty led international mobility program”, known as an “international field school”.
