M.Ed.: Literature Reviews and Citation Management

In this workshop, Education Librarian Erin May will focus on stratetgies for finding scholarly & grey literature beyond TRU Library’s collection, looking at search techniques and sources to draw upon a broad network of materials ensuring that your literature review is thorough, deep and complete.

As you conduct your literature review, you'll also want to consider how and where you're organizing your research; that's where Citation Management comes in. There are many citation management systems available. These tools collect your journal article, book, or other document citations together in one place, and help you create properly formatted bibliographies in almost any style -- in seconds. Find out how these tools work, looking at some of the more common choices which include both free online options and RefWorks, for which TRU Library has an ongoing subscription.
