This presentation is for students, faculty and interested community members. As CIPO is an operating agency of Innovation Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), affiliated with the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC), Ryan’s presentation is for Canadian technology businesses, entrepreneurs and innovators. Ryan’s presentation will focus on copyright issues for TRU students studying software engineering, emphasizing the protection of IP through copyright (source code and other protectable aspects of software projects) and the patent process. Learn about the importance and value of IP awareness to the long-term growth and sustainability of business, technology and innovation.
