This session invites participants to share ideas and approaches to teaching that acknowledge the inequitable impacts of COVID on student capacity and access.
Participants will:

Share stories of student challenges and successes

Discuss strategies for understanding and students’ unique needs

Develop strategies for equitable assessment and student engagement
Guiding questions:
What stories of impacts are you hearing from students? How are you/ are you gathering the stories?
What does positive engagement look like for you in your class?
How can rethinking assessment create more equitable outcomes for students impacted by COVID?
