Over the last few years, there has been more faculty interest in alternative forms of grading—such as specifications grading, contract grading, or ungrading—and their positive impacts on student learning. If you’ve heard some of these terms but aren’t sure how to start or if they’re right for you or your courses, this workshop may help. In this session, we’ll explore some of the pros and cons of different forms of grading, and you’ll have the opportunity to consider how some of these strategies may work in your context.
