TRU’s Community of Practice in Open Research invites you to our January meeting with a special guest: Professor Martin Weller. Professor Weller will present about his experiences with open research, co-creation in open research with the Global Open Graduate Network (#GO-GN), and the benefits of open research for students, practice and professional careers. Professor Weller will distinguish the characteristics and mindsets of open research versus traditional research and give feedback to a TRU undergraduate student presentation offered by students who are part of CURN, the Canadian Undergraduate Research Network. Professor Weller will encourage questions and interactions throughout the webinar. Everyone is welcome and invited to attend - students, faculty, support staff, community members from TRU and outside TRU.
