Explore the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc (TteS) Food Sovereignty Garden and learn more about Indigenous land stewardship, land-based learning, healing properties of plants, and make your own traditional healing tea!
This offering is led by members of the Indigenous Food Sovereignty Project at the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc site, in collaboration with Leona (Doe) Thomas, Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc Elder, and the TRU Wellness Centre.
Transportation to and from the food sovereignty garden site is generously being provided by Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc, funded through an Everyone Eats grant.
The TRU Wellness Centre will provide lunch for participants.
