This Community of Practice (CoP) brings together faculty from diverse disciplines to explore, develop, and integrate anti-racism pedagogies across the curriculum. Through shared dialogue and showcases of effective practice, we will deepen our understanding of anti-racist teaching and co-create strategies in a supportive, flexible space, both online and in person.

This CoP will be facilitated by Dr. Tanya Manning-Lewis.

Core Objectives:

  1. Facilitate interdisciplinary discussions on anti-racism pedagogies and practical applications across disciplines.
  2. Create opportunities for faculty to present and discuss their approaches to integrating anti-racism into their teaching.
  3. Provide faculty with concrete tools, resources, and peer support to embed anti-racist frameworks in their courses.
  4. Curate a shared repository of readings, case studies, teaching guides, and discipline-specific examples of anti-racist pedagogy.
  5. Highlight successful practices through designated showcase sessions and encourage ongoing scholarly inquiry into anti-racism in education.
