Learning Design: Sustainability Across the Curriculum

This learning design series is an opportunity to support faculty in designing sustainability, as defined by the UN Sustainability Development Goals (UNSDGs), within their course curriculum.

Each workshop has a different learning design topic, but each can also act as a standalone, so faculty may choose to attend whichever workshop(s) work in their schedule.

Faculty who register and attend all 5 workshops are eligible to be a Sustainability in Curriculum Fellow, which is accompanied by a $400 stipend for future sustainability-related professional development or course materials.

Sustainability in Curriculum Fellow Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Attend all 5 workshops
  2. Submit the course outline for the workshopped course from before the workshop and after to demonstrate integration of sustainability concepts and/or initiatives.
  3. Submit course materials that showcase sustainability initiatives that were designed into the curriculum
