 first day of class\, this workshop is for you. This session will ensure you 
 have the tools to engage and excite your students about their learning and 
 the course content right from the first minute they enter your class. An 
 engaging first day of class can set the stage for an active and 
 learning-centred classroom and foster classroom community. We’ll try a 
 few strategies throughout the session\, so please come prepared to
